You can fall in love at first sight with a place as well as a person.

Daddy time in the lazy river

The much anticipated journey to Atlantis in the Bahamas finally arrived. It was our 10th wedding anniversary. Atlantis was amazing. Something new to do everyday, that place was HUGE! 3 beaches, 8 slides, 2 lazy rivers and about 20 different pools not to mention the dry land aquariums, live music, turtle and stingray feeding and much more. We jet skied, took 2 boating adventures, 1 to a private island and a 2nd one for a 3 stop snorkeling adventure. 1 of which involved about 20 bahamian reef sharks. And yes Ben did it all. Snorkeled, went on all of the slides (except 1, it was way too steep and mommy couldnt handle the stress of sending him down it) fed the animals and just had a great time all around. Ben even lost another tooth there and the Bahamian tooth fairy brought him 20 bucks! These are just a few pictures. The water was really that blue. But beware, the next time you come to the house, you will have to see the whole slide show!

Bike Parade

Middle of the gigantor water fight

With T-ball season at an end we have been waiting for this 4th of July block party that has been the talk all season! Half of the team lived on this block.
Well it came and what a hoopla event it was. When I was a kid we used to block off our Pearl drive street and have
a huge block party just like this. The kids could ride up and down on their bikes, they had a bounce house, a bike parade and the biggest water balloon/ bowl of water throwing/hose fight you have ever seen. It was sooo much fun and we are lucky to have such great friends to celebrate with!

Ben on the soaring over california ride.

We were lucky enough on the 1st day of summer break to get some free tickets to Disneyland's California Adventure.(My favorite price) thanks! J. & Erin.
We have never been since we go to Disneyland park every year for his birthday. So this was a great new adventure. Ben is such a Roller Coaster maniac he enjoyed just about every thrill seeking ride they had! He is sooo much fun to be around.

Come in Stan Lee...

This is Ben's first full page written letter sent by snail mail to Stan Lee. He spent a great deal of time writing it all by imself. With some help of the nifty pre lined paper. He was asking him to draw him a super hero called Lightning Boy. This choice character because Ben's Indian guide name is Dark Lightning.... We are still waiting for a response.
