I always wanted to invent something that would move around & make funny noises & would change the world as we know it & I forgot all about that until we had kids & now I see I came pretty close.

"If you were smart, you'd probably spend more time stretching, he said & I said, If I were really smart, I'd probably spend more time just sitting in the shade drinking lemonade" brian andreas

Well Ben had the joy of his first Lemonade stand this past Friday.  Daddy had been working on the stand part while Ben and mommy worked on the artistic signage.  Ben couldn't wait till the weekend so he hauled it all out to the street corner on a Friday afternoon.  It worked out to be a great time because everyone was either heading home from work or out walking their dog.  He made a ton of money from the lemonade and a few bucks more for just his general cuteness of standing their waving at all the cars going by.  They would stop and just hand him money for his effort.  He even got a few tips for "good service"  He has already "invested" his money.....in a new fighter jet that is!

"Think of bicycles as rideable art that can just about save the world."  ~Grant Petersen

Wes, Dad and Ben

We have discovered another fine bike riding adventure!  It is only 2 miles from our house.  It is a skate/scooter and bike park for all ages!  No racing just lots and lots of ramps, jumps, hills and general craziness.  Ben loves it and asks daily to go to the bike park.  It amazes us that he is only 4 years old and is willing to try anything.
