We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” george bernard shaw
What do you do when it rains in San Diego?  Have a SNOWBALL fight inside of course!  Ben and I had the greatest fun this last weekend throwing cotton balls at each other and chasing each other around as a target.  We guarantee there were no cotton balls harmed in this game!

Life is either a great adventure or nothing.

So Ben was on yet another adventure last night.  He went on an adventure with daddy and uncle J. to see the Harlem Globetrotters at the sports arena here in San Diego.  As you can see from the pictures there was much fun to be had.  He met Globie, got 2 high fives from Special K and Hollywood and got a real Globetrotters ball signed by Big Easy.
And the quote of the evening comes from Daddy  "It's so great to have a second childhood!"

Happy Valentines Day!

Every father should remember that one day his son will follow his example instead of his advice” unknown
For Valentines Day I came home to the most beautiful artwork in my driveway.  Daddy has taught Ben so many heart warming, loving things and here is an example.
When Dad asked Ben, "what do you think mommy would like for valentines day?"  Ben replied "flowers and chocolate" So,
Ben drew a dozen flowers for me ( underneath the flying heart slightly resembling lollipops).  Daddy said "I don't know how to draw chocolate" so Ben thought for a bit and said "o.k. draw a hot chocolate"  So I got flowers and hot chocolate.
I love my boys!

Boys are beyond the range of anybody's sure understanding, at least when they are between the ages of 18 months and 90 years.” James Thurber
A true boys night out!  Motor cross and biker girls.  Wahoo!  Ben, Dad, Uncle Todd and buddy Wes went to the Motor Cross races this evening for some man land time.  And boy did they get it!  They even ran into Travis Pastrana. Who?....You may ask....a famous rider...that's all you need to know. And yeah...this is Ben's new tough guy look in pictures.
