The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. 

So Chris called me at work and said..."we are going to wait for you to get home so we can all go to the beach together."  So we went to wind and sea at 5:00 in the evening and had so much fun in the gorgeous San Diego/daylight savings/perfect day weather!

Chris's example is to never give up on your dreams.  It has been his dream to be a drummer, in a band, that actually performs.  He is all of them.  These pictures were taken at a gig that Chris's band "Arroyo" played at.  Ben was allowed to go because it was at an art gallery downtown.  He wanted to look just like dad!  And he did with his white shirt and black tie.  It was so cute.

BMX Ben

Today was the start of a new hobby. BMX racing!

Ben stopped sucking his thumb this week and gave up his long time friend "taggy"

As a reward for going all week without sucking his thumb he got to go to this 

superlicious BMX racing track and loved it!  He rode for about an hour and a half

and wanted to keep on going.  We will keep you updated on his pro race schedule! :0-)
